Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP)

MPMP is a performance measurement and reporting system that promotes local government transparency and accountability. It also provides municipalities with useful data to make informed municipal service level decisions while optimizing available resources.

All Ontario municipalities are required to report MPMP efficiency and effectiveness measures for services provided by their municipality.

Performance Measures

For 2014 onwards, there is no prescribed public reporting requirement.  In place of the previous schedules, a new schedule, 80D: statistical data, collects the data needed to develop an established set of standardized performance measures.  Submission of this schedule forms part of the Financial Information Return (FIR).
