PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION For Approval of a Plan of Subdivision Clause 51(20)(a) of the Planning Act, RSO 1990

Application No.: PE-16-01 (Dan and Susan Festoso)

Subject Land: Part of Lot 19, Concession 1, and being Part 1 on Reference Plan 44R-3076, formerly in the Township of South Easthope (now in the South Easthope Ward), Township of Perth East.

The County of Perth has received an application from IBI Group on behalf of the property owners, Dan and Susan Festoso, for Approval of a Plan of Subdivision (File PE-16-01) pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, and has deemed same to be complete.

The application affects a 1.73 ha (4.27 ac) portion of an existing property. The application proposes 17 lots for single-detached dwellings as well as 1 block for a short extension of William Shakespeare Street. 15 lots will have frontage along Wilson Street, while 2 lots will have frontage along the proposed extension of William Shakespeare Street to the north.

Section 51(20)(b) of the Planning Act, RSO 1990 requires that the approval authority ensure that a public meeting is held in accordance with the Planning Act regulations. The Council of the Corporation of the County of Perth is holding the Public Meeting on April 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the County of Perth Council Chambers, County Court House, 1 Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario N5A 5S4.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Perth in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the County of Perth to the Ontario Municipal Board.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Perth in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the County of Perth in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the County of Perth at the address shown below.
