Application for Approval of a Plan of Subdivision

Application No.: NP 16-02 (Municipality of North Perth)
Subject Lands: Part of Park Lot 5, Plan 194, Wallace Ward (Binning Street West), Municipality of North Perth

The County of Perth has received a request for a Plan of Subdivision from the Municipality of North Perth on behalf of the property owners, James Bennett and Mary Ellen Koch (File NP 16-02) with respect to the land shown on the Key Map below.

The proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision encompasses an area of approximately 2.6 hectares (6.5 acres) and would create 17 residential lots, one future development block, two servicing blocks and a new road right-of-way.

Section 51(20)(b) of the Planning Act, RSO 1990 requires that the approval authority ensure that a public meeting is held in accordance with the Planning Act regulations. The Council of the Corporation of the County of Perth is holding the Public Meeting on April 20, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the County of Perth Council Chambers, County Court House, 1 Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario N5A 5S4

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Perth in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the County of Perth to the Ontario Municipal Board.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Perth in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

Any person or public body may appeal a decision of the County of Perth not later than 20 days after the notice of the decision is given.
